Thanks for taking a look at my portfolio.
I’m a part time freelance writer interested in a number of topics ranging from music, photography, culture and art, through travel writing, to the more serious subjects of social injustice and healthcare. I have written for the music press, arts & culture magazines, and local business, providing features, reviews, and copywriting services. I also blog at oracleroulette.com.
Here you will find a selection of articles that I’ve written for various publications listed according to subject, type, and to publication – please take a look at the category list to the right to find what you are looking for, or use the search widget, again to the right.
You can contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to discuss work I can do for you.
Feel free to link to my articles, but please do not reproduce them in whole or part without permission (I am usually happy to provide this, but please do ask!).

More About Me
I’m based in Leeds, UK, and have had articles published both on the web and in the national music press. I have particular passions for writing about the alternative music scene, the people that make it and what drives them; Icelandic culture; domestic abuse; autism; imaginative creative projects, and anything that inspires.
I have a secret second life as a UK qualified pharmacist with over 11 years’ NHS experience including pharmacy education, elderly care, and non-medical prescribing. I’m also an amateur jeweller working mainly in silver, sometimes multimedia, and have a passion for beautiful photographs, experiences and things.
I also like cats and asymmetry.
